Synopsis[]
Toby takes matters into his own hands as Nate comes closer to the truth. Ollie falls into dangerous territory as he starts to believe Becky's theories. Maxine plans to get Warren released from prison, whilst Marnie is forced to change her Christmas plans.
Plot[]
Toby panics when he learns that Nate is a police officer and has asked Martine to visit him at the police station. Cindy tells Zara that Luke has gone missing. Maxine visits Warren in prison. Martine angrily confronts Felix. Cindy worries that Luke is drinking. Maxine tells Warren that D.S. Cohen is searching Croxford Woods to find Timmy's body. James snubs Donna-Marie and Marnie's Christmas plans. Martine doesn't believe that Lisa is in Ibiza. Becky meets Ollie outside of the police station. They end up kissing.
Lexi tells Nate that she believes that Fergus was one of Maya's "lackies". Martine interrupts and explodes at Nate, warning him to stay away from the Deverauxes. Lexi is enraged and tells Nate to drop his "side project". Grace confronts Celeste over the postcard, and Celeste tells her that she faked the postcard for Martine. Toby vows to "deal with" Nate, to Celeste's worry.
Luke returns home, having gone to the bakery on the other side of town to get mince pies. Celeste tells Toby that she is struggling to protect him after Lisa's murder. Marnie is upset after her carol singers cancel, so Donna-Marie comes up with a plan. Becky tells Ollie that she doesn't think that frontotemporal dementia actually exists, and Luke doesn't need doctors.
Grace is intrigued when Martine mentions having a postcard with Mitchell's contact details. After sending Martine to Price Slice, Grace finds the postcard and calls Mitchell. Maxine asks for Sienna's help to get Warren out of prison. Toby finds Nate in the garage and confronts him, armed with a spanner.
