Synopsis[]
The DJ'ing contest takes place: Zak performs poorly and Sonny is caught cheating, leaving John Paul as the winner. Warren confisgates drugs and Clare is horrified to catch Warren snorting cocaine in the office. Sarah and Amy are upset when Mike leaves Kathy.
Plot[]
Warren writes a letter for Clare. Kathy gets upset. Sarah enjoys spending time with Mike. Amy is in a bad mood and Michaela is unsympathetic. They have a fight and Amy shatters the mirror when she kicks a bin. Zak is surprised when Warren allows him to return to The Loft to partake in the DJ'ing competition. John Paul introduces himself to Sonny, and they are civil towards each other. John Paul is intrigued to hear of the DJ'ing competition at The Loft. Clare did not see Warren's message, so they have not called for a DJ to judge the competition in time. Mike and Sarah are cold towards Kathy. She gets a call and informs them that Amy has smashed up the bathroom.
Craig and Sonny argue. John Paul is going to enter the competition, and Craig goes to The Loft with him. Nancy is also cold towards Kathy. Mike is annoyed when Kathy asks Mike not to undermine her in front of Sarah, Amy and their friends. Max wants to through Zak out, but he reveals that Warren allowed him to return. Warren convinces Max to let Zak return. Sonny is surprised to learn that John Paul is partaking in the conversation. Zak is the first contestant. Sarah is venting to Nancy about her parents' marriage when Amy enters. The audience begin to boo Zak. Sonny is the second contestant. He cheats by placing a CD in the CD player and pretending to mix.
Warren confisgates a bag of cocaine. The audience have loved Sonny's performance. John Paul is the third DJ. Warren is most impressed by John Paul. The Barnes have dinner in awkward silence. The audience have loved John Paul's performance. Clare unknowingly plays Sonny's CD whilst she and Max decide who the winner is. They have chosen Sonny. John Paul asks Sonny to stop bullying Craig. Sonny begins to think. He is horrified when he hears his CD being played. Warren exposes Sonny's deceit. Clare tells Warren to throw Sonny out when Sonny tries to justify himself. John Paul wins the resident DJ job as a result, and John Paul is thrilled.
Mike gets upset looking at his family and has to leave. Warren convinces Max to let him handle the cash and give him the code to the safe. He takes the bag of cocaine out of his pocket. Amy and Sarah are upset to find Mike packing a bag. Kathy is annoyed that Mike doesn't want to try. Sarah and Amy want Kathy to leave, not Mike, but Mike is insistent that he has to leave. Craig is unappreciative of John Paul 's help when he learns that John Paul has spoken to Sonny. Clare threatens to fire Warren when she catches him about to snort cocaine. He winds her up and she storms off. Nancy watches as Mike takes his bag to Washed Up.
