- 1996 - Louise Taylor leaves the village to go travelling with her new lover Tree.
- 2009 - Justin Burton flees the village to avoid being prosecuted for the fire at The Loft. Nancy Hayton proposes to Russ Owen, but he rejects. Russ later flees the village with Justin after kidnapping his son, Max.
- 2013 - Lindsey Butterfield arrives in the village as the new doctor at Dee Valley University Hospital.
