Synopsis[]

Doug makes a big decision about his relationship with Ste. Cindy and Rhys struggle to keep apart. The students find their dream apartment, so they try to make Tony throw them out.

Plot[]

Ste wants to revamp the menu at the deli. Rhys tells Cindy they can't sleep together again. Annalise, Barney and Rob find their dream apartment, but Barney and Rob's contract to Tony means they're on an eight-week notice period, so Rob decides to try and get him and Barney kicked out instead. Doug walks out on Ste when he's called down to the police station to look at photos from the break-in.

Leanne tries to help Ste understand where Doug's coming from; Ste can't believe she's told Doug that Brendan's the love of his life. Cindy seduces Rhys again in the store cupboard but he quickly pulls away. Ste tries convincing Doug that he loves him and not Brendan. Rhys asks Jacqui why they don't have fun together anymore. Jacqui tells him it's time for them to grow up. Rob trashes Tony's flat just before Tony walks in on the phone to their new landlord, telling them that he'll provide references. Doug shuts the deli and is told by Leanne to do something about his relationship as it's making him miserable.

Rob and Tony argue when Tony tells the landlord that Rob and Barney can't move into their new apartment yet. Cindy walks in on the commotion and defends Tony. Ste's confused to find the deli closed. Tony admits to Cindy he sometimes feels like she doesn't like him, but she reassures him it's just because they're in a relationship. Jacqui lets Rhys skip their meal with Myra, encouraging him to go and enjoy a night out instead. Doug calls Ste over to the deli and explains he's happy spending the rest of his life with him. He proposes to Ste, who accepts. Cindy visits Rhys at College Coffee and they end up sleeping together again. Ste gets a call - something's happened to Brendan.
