Synopsis[]
Tony tries to conceal his relief when Jasmine reveals herself to be a personal fitness trainer. Jude's unexpected visit causes problems for Ruth and Kurt. Has Lewis's worst fear become a reality?
Plot[]
Jasmine visits Tony as he unpacks stock at the video shop. Ruth and Kurt enjoy having the place to themselves. Lewis finds Mandy on the front page of The Chester Herald. Mandy enters a cafe in Liverpool. Tony is left suspicious when he overhears Jasmine on the phone. Tony confronts Vernon, a builder, who has arrived late. Jude is equally annoyed with the builders’ presence, especially when one of them bends over to reveal that he has not worn his pants high enough. Finn sells Kurt and Ruth a leather sofa. Ruth is very optimistic about their new place, and invites Finn to their housewarming. Carol and Jude are struggling as Parker's has no customers. Tony cleans up after the builders. Vernon recommends a film to Kate, but puts Kate off buying another. Vernon warns Tony against watching over the builders and bossing them around so much.
Kurt invites Kate and Tony to the housewarming party. Tony tells Kurt about what he saw when he followed Jasmine. Kurt reminds Tony to acquire his proof first. Tony is incensed when the builders knock through the wall before letting him take the shelves down. Mandy looks through a book of family photos. Tony threatens to sue Vernon if the damage is not fixed by the time he returns. Ruth comforts an upset Lewis. Lewis is also worried about Jude, Ruth thinks she took advantage of him. Ruth orders him to attend the housewarming party. Mandy arrives at a train station. Tony continues to watch Jasmine from afar. He spots her putting her jacket on, and a man giving her money. He furiously confronts Jasmine, only for Jasmine to reveal that she is a personal trainer. He manages to stop Jasmine from thinking that he thought she was being unfaithful. Mandy spots a man reading the newspaper and worries when she sees her face on the front page. She reads the article as she boards the train to Chester, but changes her mind and boards a train to London.
Tony is furious to find the builders watching videos and not doing work. One of the builders puts a nail through a water pipe and Tony insults him. Vernon has to stop the builder from punching Tony. Jude goes to use the shower, only to find that the water doesn't work. The guests start to arrive at the house warming. Tony arrives and Ruth lets him use the shower. Tony tells Kurt that Jasmine is a personal trainer. Lewis, Kurt and Ruth are annoyed when Jude crashes the party. Jude tries to talk to Lewis but he explodes at her and storms off. She decides to flirt with Finn to make Lewis jealous. Kurt reveals to Jasmine that Tony thought that she was a prostitute. Finn apologises to Lewis for flirting with Jude as he was unaware that she is Lewis's ex-girlfriend. Jasmine angrily confronts Tony. Jude realises that Ruth's sofa is the one that was stolen from Parker's. A blazing argument occurs between Jude, Kurt, Ruth and Finn. Lewis receives a call from Helen about Mandy. Ruth follows him and Lewis reveals that Mandy's bag was found dumped in the men's bathrooms of a train station.
