Synopsis[]
John Paul is overwhelmed with guilt on the day of the fundraiser. Martine receives big news at her oncology appointment with Misbah. Goldie and Theresa hold an intervention for a gutted Mercedes.
Plot[]
John Paul finds another blackmail note. Mercedes asks Goldie and Theresa to hand over Bobby's belongings on her behalf. Mason impresses his parents with a magic trick. Alcohol is donated for the raffle at school. Goldie and Theresa stage an intervention for Mercedes. Olivia offers to look after Mason's memory stick for him. She switches his memory stick for her identical one, which contains the footage from the crash on it. Martine heads to her oncology appointment, supported by her husband.
Olivia torments John Paul after his talk with Freya and Lexi. He takes a bottle of the donated wine to consume. Goldie and Theresa hang up photos of Bobby from over the years for Mercedes. She sees them and is determined to do what's best for her son. Olivia sets the video of the crash up for the audience at the fundraising event to see. Freya gives a few words but a drunken John Paul interrupts her speech, planning to confess everything. Prince manages to stop him but the laptop and memory stick are damaged in the process. Misbah informs Martine that her cancer treatment has been successful.
Theresa consoles a tearful Mercedes. Charlie picks on Mason again when his magic show doesn't go to plan. Ella encourages Mason not to give up and to perform his show on the stage anyway. Mercedes pulls herself together and says goodbye to Bobby. John Paul and Prince talk alone; Prince holds the microphone in his hands. Olivia turns the volume up on the microphone and Lexi, Freya and Sally all listen in complete shock as Prince reassure John Paul that no one ever has to know that the crash was not an accident.
