- 5th January - Rayne Royce's killer is revealed to be Romeo Nightingale, who pushed her into the pool in self-defence. Rayne had previously sustained a head injury during a confrontation with Prince McQueen. (Final appearance of Rayne)
- 8th January - Romeo Nightingale is attacked and kidnapped by two men.
- 9th January - Romeo Nightingale's kidnap is revealed to have been orchestrated by James Nightingale.
- 10th January - Nadira Valli leaves the village with Lacey Lloyd, joining her in Norwich. (Final appearances of the characters)
- 11th January - Rafe Harcourt is rushed to hospital after collapsing. Romeo Nightingale is arrested on suspicion of the murder of Rayne Royce after being set up by Peri Lomax.
- 15th January - Leah Barnes collapses from alcohol poisoning and Ste Hay causes a pile-up after being distracted whilst rushing her to hospital. Driving to the registry office with soon-to-be wife Mercedes McQueen and best friend Warren Fox, Felix Westwood crashes into a car containing Theresa, Cleo and Myra McQueen before rolling into a field. Kitty Draper's driver also crashes her car and dies in the collision. After rescuing the McQueens from their car, Joel Dexter is hit by a speeding tow truck. The body of Ella Richardson is found, having been run over by Ste during the accident. Meanwhile, Rafe Harcourt is taken hostage by wife Dilly Harcourt to prevent him from exposing their plot against Sienna Blake, but dies whilst trapped in the basement. (First appearances of Myra since 2019, and Cleo and Theresa since 2022, first appearance of Kitty, and final appearance of Ella)

- 18th January - Hannah Ashworth returns to the village with her twin half-siblings Frankie and JJ Osborne. Abe Fielding arrives in the village to see Cleo McQueen. (First appearance of Hannah since 2010, and Frankie and JJ since 2011, first appearance of Abe)
- 23rd January - Suzanne Ashworth returns to the village to confront her daughter Hannah over running away with JJ and Frankie Osborne. Hannah leaves the village afterwards. (First appearance of Suzanne since 2012)
- 24th January - Goldie and Myra McQueen leave the village, going on a round-the-world cruise to lure and escape from gangsters hunting for Jacqui McQueen. (Final appearance of Myra)
- 29th January - Dave Chen-Williams suffers a heart attack as a result of his cocaine use.
- 30th January - Cindy Cunningham proposes to Dave Chen-Williams, who rejects.
- 31st January - Phoenix Hathaway and Shing Lin Leong leave the village and move to London. After taking a paternity test, Mercedes McQueen discovers the father of her unborn twins are both Felix Westwood and Warren Fox, due to superfecundation. Dave Chen-Williams proposes to Cindy Cunningham, who accepts. (Final appearance of Phoenix and Shing Lin)
- 2nd February - Warren Fox is shot during a scuffle with Felix Westwood. He later collapses after holding Felix at gunpoint. Afterwards, Felix flees the village. (Final appearance of Felix)
- 5th February - Ella Richardson's funeral takes place. Liberty Savage returns to the village and is knocked unconscious by Dilly Harcourt. (First appearance of Liberty since 2022)
- 6th February - Dilly Harcourt falls from a balcony during a scuffle with Sienna Blake, shortly before Liberty Savage reveals that Dilly and Sienna are paternal half-sisters.
- 9th February - To cover his tracks after the hit-and-run which killed Ella Richardson, Ste Hay sets James Nightingale's car on fire.
- 12th February - Kane is arrested for Ella Richardson's death after being set up by James Nightingale.
- 14th February - Joel Dexter proposes to Leela Lomax, who accepts. Abe Fielding is revealed to be Joel's brother.
- 19th February - Jack Osborne is arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting a minor, after Frankie Osborne claims he touched her inappropriately.
- 21st February - Peri Lomax is arrested for trying to smuggle a burner phone into Longmere Prison for inmate Romeo Nightingale.
- 22nd February - As a result of her head injury, Dilly Harcourt begins seeing visions of the late Patrick Blake. (First appearance of Patrick since 2016)
- 23rd February - Dilly Harcourt stops seeing visions of Patrick Blake after collapsing as a result of her head injury. (Final appearance of Patrick)
- 27th February - After ending her marriage to Tom Cunningham, Yasmine Cunningham leaves the village after accepting a job offer in Canada. (Final appearance of Yasmine)
- 4th March - Diane Hutchinson is arrested on suspicion of driving with excess alcohol and Tony Hutchinson is arrested for perverting the course of justice.
- 7th March - Romeo Nightingale is stabbed by prison cellmate Kane.
- 11th March - Rafe Harcourt's funeral takes place. Prisoner Romeo Nightingale goes on the run after a successful escape attempt from hospital assisted by Peri Lomax and James Nightingale. (Final appearance of Romeo)
- 12th March - Peri Lomax is arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender. Frankie Osborne is revealed to have been sexually abused by JJ Osborne.
- 13th March - Frankie Osborne collapses from alcohol poisoning.
- 14th March - James Nightingale is kidnapped by Warren Fox.
- 15th March - Ste Hay is pushed off the roof of a multi-storey car park by Warren Fox during a confrontation. After being released from prison, Marie Fielding returns to the village. (First appearance of Marie since 2012)
- 20th March - Sally St. Claire collapses from a unknown cause.
- 25th March - Carter Shepherd proposes to Maxine Minniver, who rejects.
- 26th March - Marie Fielding is arrested on suspicion of poisoning Arlo Fielding after being set up by Abe Fielding.
- 28th March - Frankie Osborne is arrested for assault after detective Zoe Anderson witnesses her throw Suzanne Ashworth to the floor.
- 29th March - Frankie Osborne collapses from alcohol poisoning and chokes on her vomit.
- 2nd April - Freddie Roscoe returns to the village to team up with Mercedes McQueen against Warren Fox. (First appearance of Freddie since 2017)
- 8th April - Andre Clark and Vicky Grant's father Donny Clark arrives in the village to surprise Vicky on her 18th birthday. (First appearance of Donny)
- 9th April - On the orders of Warren Fox, Murphy and Ste Hay hold Sienna Blake, Dilly Harcourt, Maxine Minniver and Liberty Savage hostage at gunpoint at Harcourt Grove. During a struggle over the gun between Murphy, Maxine, Liberty and Dilly, Maxine accidentally shoots Murphy.
- 12th April - Sally St. Claire is diagnosed with an abdominal aortic aneurysm.
- 16th April - During a confrontation with Carter Shepherd, Sally St. Claire loses consciousness and collapses.
- 17th April - Frankie Osborne is raped by JJ Osborne.
- 22nd April - Freddie Roscoe visits Grace Black in prison. (First appearance of Grace since 2023)
- 23rd April - Diane Hutchinson receives a 12 month driving ban for driving under the influence and Tony Hutchinson is issued a fine for perverting the course of justice.
- 24th April - Sharon Bailey leaves the village after accepting a job offer in Dubai. During an argument with Misbah Maalik over her kiss with Donny Clark, Zain Rizwaan suffers a stroke and collapses. (Final appearance of Sharon)
- 29th April - Murphy performs an armed robbery at The Loft. Hannah Ashworth is discovered after being kidnapped by Carter Shepherd.
- 30th April - Murphy is shot dead by Warren Fox. Lucas Hay viciously attacks Dillon Ray, and later loses consciousness and collapses from blood loss caused by self-harming.
- 1st May - Carter Shepherd is arrested on suspicion of kidnapping, blackmail and attempting to abduct a child. Prince McQueen drunkenly proposes to Dilly Harcourt, who accepts, and Zoe Anderson drunkenly proposes to Hunter McQueen, who accepts.
- 3rd May - Declan Hawthorne kidnaps Kitty Draper.
- 7th May - Cindy Cunningham and Dave Chen-Williams get married. After taking ecstasy supplied by Warren Fox, Lizzie Chen-Williams dies in Dave's arms from a cardiac arrest. (Final appearance of Lizzie)
- 8th May - Marie Fielding collapses after taking dodgy drugs, but is resuscitated by Abe Fielding. After Lizzie Chen-Williams' death, Mason Chen-Williams leaves the village and moves to London to live with his mum. After taking ecstasy supplied by Warren Fox, Hunter McQueen unexpectedly dies. (Final appearance of Hunter)
- 13th May - Morgan Osborne is accidentally given an overdose of an antihistamine by Frankie Osborne.
- 14th May - Joel Dexter proposes to Leela Lomax.
- 15th May - Leela Lomax accepts Joel Dexter's proposal. John Paul McQueen is kidnapped by Gareth.
- 17th May - Carter Shepherd attempts to drown John Paul McQueen in a lake. He is arrested whilst John Paul is resuscitated by paramedics.
- 20th May - Lizzie Chen-Williams's memorial takes place. John Paul McQueen visits Carter Shepherd in prison. Declan Hawthorne dies after striking his head on a bedframe during a fight with Beau Ramsey, who was rescuing Kitty Draper from Declan's clutches. (Final appearance of Carter)
- 21st May - Dave Williams receives a video call from Mason Chen-Williams in London. Robbie Roscoe returns to the village. (First appearance of Robbie since 2016 and final appearance of Mason)
- 23rd May - Leela Lomax and Joel Dexter marry.
- 24th May - Leela Dexter is told that her unborn son has died.
- 28th May - Leela Dexter gives birth to a stillborn son, who she and Joel Dexter name Noah.
- 30th May - After slamming James Nightingale's hand in a door, Sienna Blake is arrested for assault.
- 31st May - JJ Osborne sexually assaults Frankie Osborne.
- 4th June - Frankie Osborne loses consciousness and falls down a flight of stairs after being hit over the head with a football boot by JJ Osborne.
- 5th June - Nancy Osborne is arrested and charged with assaulting Frankie Osborne. Ethan Williams is knocked unconscious after being attacked by Freddie Roscoe.
- 7th June - Freddie Roscoe and Grace Black get married. Prior to the wedding, Warren Fox attacks Freddie, before Freddie falsely imprisons Robbie Roscoe. After Freddie backs out of their escape plan, Grace attacks Freddie and stabs herself. Zoe Anderson discovers she's pregnant.
- 10th June - Hunter McQueen's funeral takes place.
- 11th June - After Hunter McQueen's funeral, Goldie McQueen leaves the village. (Last appearance of Goldie as Chelsee Healey goes on maternity leave)
- 12th June - Hannah Ashworth is arrested on suspicion of theft. Arlo Fielding attacks Marie Fielding.
- 13th June - Dave Williams attacks Robbie Roscoe.
- 19th June - Dilly Harcourt meets her late father Patrick Blake's estranged twin brother Jeremy, thinking he's a hallucination of Patrick. (First appearance of Jeremy)
- 21st June - Martha Blake attempts to overdose Jeremy Blake on morphine, but is stopped by Dilly Harcourt.
- 25th June - After attacking Dave Williams, Warren Fox is arrested for assault.
- 27th June - Warren Fox is shot by a masked motorcyclist.
- 1st July - Robbie Roscoe attacks Freddie Roscoe.
- 2nd July - After ending his marriage to Misbah Maalik, Zain Rizwaan leaves the village after accepting a job offer in Edinburgh. (Final appearance of Zain)
- 8th July - During an argument with Cleo McQueen, Abe Fielding attacks Dave Williams. Rex Gallagher kidnaps Robbie Roscoe.
- 9th July - Ste Hay's sentencing for killing Ella Richardson takes place, where Ste is acquitted despite being guilty of the crime after his conviction is declared unsafe.
- 11th July - Ste Hay and Rex Gallagher try to drown Freddie Roscoe in a bath on the orders of Warren Fox, but are stopped by Grace Black. Grace falsely imprisons Warren and Mercedes McQueen in Casa McQueen.
- 12th July - Whilst trapped in Casa McQueen, Mercedes McQueen, with help from Warren Fox, gives birth to her and Warren's and her and Felix Westwood's baby girls. Freddie Roscoe loses consciousness from secondary drowning.
- 15th July - Scott Drinkwell video calls Maxine Minniver and Freya Calder, revealing he unexpectedly left the village and moved to Spain to live with his cousin Sinead Shelby. Freya later leaves the village to join Scott. Jeremy Blake loses consciousness after being drugged by Martha Blake, who's revealed to be his and Patrick Blake's mother. (Final appearances of Scott and Freya)
- 17th July - After suffering from head pains, JJ Osborne suddenly collapses.
- 18th July - After being rushed to hospital, JJ Osborne is revealed to have collapsed from a pseudo-seizure.
- 23rd July - After collapsing in Casa McQueen, Warren Fox is rushed to hospital where it's revealed he was drugged with LSD.
- 24th July - Ste Hay and Rex Gallagher kidnap Ethan Williams.
- 25th July - Warren Fox falsely imprisons Rex Gallagher in the back of a van and sets it alight, but Rex escapes before the van explodes.
- 26th July - Noah Dexter's funeral takes place. Norma Crow is fatally shot by gangster 'Blue'. (Final appearance of Norma)
- 31st July - Dave Williams is revealed to have killed Lizzie Chen-Williams' daughter and a social worker in an accidental car crash. Beau Ramsey is arrested on suspicion of the murder of Declan Hawthorne.
- 1st August - Kitty Draper, Diane and Tony Hutchinson visit Beau Ramsey in prison. (Final appearance of Beau)
- 2nd August - During a driving lesson with Tom Cunningham, Dillon Ray accidentally crashes into the back of Sienna Blake and Liberty Savage's van.
- 9th August - 'Blue' is revealed to be Dave Williams.
- 12th August - Intent on avenging his daughter Lizzie's death caused by Warren Fox, Dave Williams gives Warren's son Joel Dexter an overdose of heroin.
- 13th August - Warren Fox is arrested on suspicion of the murder of Norma Crow.
- 15th August - Frankie Osborne opens up to Darren Osborne about her being sexually assaulted by her twin brother JJ Osborne.
- 21st August - Whilst arresting Kitty Draper for assisting an offender, Zoe Anderson goes into premature labour and gives birth to a baby boy in the park. Prince McQueen proposes to Dilly Harcourt, who accepts. Jeremy Blake is revealed to be the biological father of Sienna Blake and Dodger Savage.
- 26th August - Abe Fielding attacks Cleo McQueen.
- 27th August - After being threatened by Dave Williams, Kitty Draper leaves the village. (Final appearance of Kitty)
- 28th August - James Nightingale suddenly collapses.
- 29th August - James Nightingale is revealed to have been diagnosed with a brain tumour. Joel Dexter loses consciousness and collapses from a drug overdose.
- 30th August - Leela Dexter attacks Mercedes McQueen. Joel Dexter is arrested for perverting the course of justice. Maria-Gabriella McQueen and Maria-Carmela McQueen are kidnapped by Dave Williams and Rex Gallagher.
- 3rd September - After being confronted about kidnapping Maria-Gabriella McQueen and Maria-Carmela McQueen, Dave Williams holds Cindy and Tom Cunningham hostage at gunpoint.
- 4th September - In order to escape Dave Williams, Cindy and Tom Cunningham flee the village with Hilton Cunningham and Steph Cunningham-Lomax and move to Spain to live with their sister Jude Cunningham. JJ Osborne is arrested for assault. (Final appearances of Cindy and Tom)
- 5th September - JJ Osborne is arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting Frankie Osborne. Dave Williams and Rex Gallagher kidnap Misbah Maalik. Warren Fox escapes from prison after he and Donny Clark orchestrate a fight in the Longmere Prison visiting room. Robbie Roscoe attacks JJ. Abe Fielding attacks Cleo McQueen.
- 9th September - Dave Williams attacks Abe Fielding.
- 10th September - During a showdown in the woods, Warren Fox is stabbed by Dave Williams. As Dave is about to shoot Warren dead, Warren disarms him, before shooting Dave. Whilst fleeing from Abe Fielding on a motorcycle, Cleo McQueen loses control and accidentally crashes into The Cage.
- 11th September - Suzanne Ashworth dies from injuries sustained in the crash caused by Cleo McQueen. Marie Fielding and Jack Osborne and rush to hospital after being injured in the crash. After presumably killing Dave Williams, Warren Fox flees the country leaving Mercedes McQueen and the twins behind. After regaining consciousness, Dave is shot twice and killed by Robbie Roscoe. James Nightingale and Ste Hay are caught up in a car explosion, caused by a bomb planted by Dave. (Final appearances of Suzanne, Warren, Dave, James, Charlie and Sally)

- 9th September - Hollyoaks will return to transmitting three episodes per week. This would be the first time the show had done so since July 2020 as a result of the COVID-19 Pandemic.
