Synopsis[]
Carmel suffers a life changing injury as she prepares for the "Face of Attwell's" competition. Lynsey decides to leave Riley, feeling that she is second best to Mitzeee. Joel is unnerved by Walker's presence, whilst the Savages make a return.
Plot[]
Lynsey wants to go to an open viewing with Riley but he's going to see Mitzeee. Martha apologises to Lacey for yesterday but then acts like everything is alright. Walker tells Brendan he's leaving. Mitzeee walks Riley back to 2 Oakdale Drive. Joel isn't impressed with Brendan for softening on Walker because he's gay and tells Walker he's got him sussed. Carmel uses Michaela's tanning lamp, which explodes in her face. Jacqui asks Martha if Lacey got back what Phoebe owed her. Lacey claims she did and Martha and Jacqui are introduced to one another.
Walker shocks Joel when he tells him he knows he was responsible for Myra getting sent down. Jacqui and Phoebe return home to find Carmel unconscious on the floor in the kitchen. Jacqui cries and panics as Phoebe calls an ambulance. Lynsey and Riley argue when he returns to hers with Mitzeee. Riley's given an ultimatum: stop seeing Mitzeee or they're through. The Dog in the Pond reopens and Darren gives a speech, which is disturbed by a loud horn. When Darren and the guests head outside to see what's going on, they're shocked to find a boat, which Dirk, Dodger and Will emerge from. Carmel's admitted to hospital. At Chez Chez, Riley tells Mitzeee they need to stay out of each other's way for a bit. Mitzeee walks away from Riley, who is unaware that Lynsey's seen them together again.
Walker tells Brendan that his wife knows deep down about his sexuality, but they haven't spoken about it because she's fragile. He smirks when Brendan walks off. Lacey finds her petty cash box under her chest of drawers with a note from Phoebe. She unlocks it and all the money's there, but Martha walks in on her with the box open and sees all the cash. Riley finds a tearful Lynsey at home; she tells him they're not going to work out and ends their relationship. Mitzeee leaves the village in the back of a taxi with a suitcase as Riley moves back into hers. Michaela and Theresa arrive at the hospital and get an update from Jacqui on Carmel's condition.
