Synopsis[]
Kyle's funeral takes place, and words from Brooke and Nancy convince Darren to get things out in the open with Mandy. Warren is shocked to hear of Felix's torment at the hands of Cormac, and arranges to confront him. Grace gives Lisa a job at The Loft, whilst Scott opens up to Mitchell.
Plot[]
Nancy places Kyle's walking stick outside The Hutch. Darren gets out of bed, but goes back when he remembers that it's the day of the funeral. Lisa's cards are getting declined, so Felix pays for her. Nancy visits Mandy and realises that Darren has not told her. Nancy wants to go through things with James for the wake. Felix offers his condolences and offers to pay for the lillies. Warren is shocked to see Felix comforting Nancy. Scott returns from the holiday. He prepares to tell Diane about the engagement, but she informs him of Kyle's death. Lisa is upset as she has been turned down for seven jobs.
Grace offers her job back at The Loft. Mark and Carole comfort each other. They prepare to go to the crematorium. Felix returns to the flat to find Warren inside. Nancy has gotten overwhelmed and James allows her to go to the back room. He tries to comfort her. Nancy worries that she will forget certain memories of Kyle like she has done with Becca. James says that he liked Kyle, even though he was not always kind to Kyle. Brooke worries about possibly offending Kyle's parents with her speech. She wants Nancy to read it for her. Warren angrily confronts Felix. He wants Felix to leave. Felix refuses to go anywhere, and winds up Warren. He mentions Cormac, and reveals that Cormac used to physically abuse him. He shows Warren scars on his back.
Nancy reads Brooke's speech. Brooke's speech prompts Nancy to discuss honesty. She looks at Darren and asks everyone to say something if they are suffering in silence. Scott tells Mitchell about his suicide attempt. Grace is pleased with Lisa's work. Grace and Lisa decide to toast to new beginnings and convince James to join them. Darren tells Mandy about when Kyle found him on the top of a roof. Mandy is shocked when Darren says that he didn't want to worry her, she says that she is worried 24/7. Warren phones Cormac, he wants to meet with him tomorrow. Mitchell has fallen asleep through the film and Scott is shocked that he could have been bored by Britney Spears.
