Synopsis[]
Plot[]
Lewis has a hangover after getting drunk with Finn the night before. Mrs. Morgan receives Zara's psychology report - Zara thinks that the report will say that she is crazy. Zara's attitude angers Luke, resulting in an argument with her. Kate is ready for Joe's wedding, but Jill is still in two minds about whether to attend. Jack refuses to attend the wedding, saying that he will need to stay behind to run The Dog in the Pond. Cindy is annoyed at the lack of romantic attention, so Mandy suggests that they go into town. Lewis wants Ruth to take a gap year for the baby. Jack visits them and vents to Ruth about the struggles with his and Jill's marriage.
Zara is not pleased when she learns that she is allowed to return to school, but must continue seeing the counsellor. Jill has decided not to attend the wedding if Jack is not going, leaving Kate unimpressed. Max and O.B. attempt busking, to no success. They see some human statues and have an idea. Cindy takes a liking to Matt when he shops in Drive 'n' Buy. Max and O.B., posting as human statues, are chased by the originals. However, they manage to escape with the money they have made. Jack is not pleased to learn of Ruth's pregnancy from Lewis - he thinks that, if the pregnancy was planned, that it was a bad idea. He doesn't think that Ruth and Lewis would be able to cope with the responsibility of having a child. Zara admits to her mother that she is scared of returning to school.
Ruth is angry to learn that Lewis let slip to Jack about the pregnancy. She says that she will need to visit him to apologise for not telling him directly herself. Cindy tells Mandy that she has taken a liking to Matt, but Mandy disapproves of him. Jill wonders if she should attend the wedding after all, as Jack seems unperturbed about it. Sol and Kate think that she should go. Jill discovers that Ruth is pregnant, to which she says that Jack will spoil her child more than he did for her kids. This initiates an argument between them, and Jill makes the decision to attend the wedding with Kate. Mandy decides to leave Cindy with Matt, and go into town on her own. Jill and Kate leave for Joe's wedding.
