Synopsis[]
Nancy seeks answers over Darren and Cindy. Ruby ends her relationship with Jono, feeling that he's embarrassed to be seen with her. Brendan isn't impressed with Cheryl. Lynsey has her interview at the hospital.
Plot[]
Cheryl sports another hangover. Neil assesses the damage to Bart's car but leaves when he shows up. Charlie wants Margaret to take him to school. Neil fills Tony in on the crash. Darren asks Margaret to hang around a little longer for a surprise. Jono arranges a rendezvous with Ruby. Nancy asks Tony if she has anything to worry about regarding Cindy and Darren. Bart, Maddie and Sinead ignore Neil, unlike Jono, who wants answers. Brendan can't believe Cheryl's agreed to hire out Chez Chez to Darren and Nancy's wedding reception on Valentine's Day; they won't even be supplying the alcohol!
Nancy confronts Cindy over Darren but can't get a straight answer out of her. Lynsey attends her interview with Doctor Browning. Jono sticks up for Neil in his absence to Bart, Maddie and Sinead. Maddie and Sinead start to understand how Neil's feeling, unlike Bart. A chat with Nancy results in Ruby convincing herself that Jono's embarrassed by her. Darren asks Nancy if they can spend the night of the 13th apart, claiming Rhys wants to go to a '90s revival in Manchester. Doctor Browning asks Lynsey if she's considered joining an escort website after the interview.
Frankie hands Darren a blue necklace she was given for her 21st to give to Nancy. Cheryl feels bad forgetting about Lynsey's interview. Lynsey checks out the escort website. Bart, Maddie, Jono and Sinead forgive Neil. Ruby ends things with Jono, knowing she deserves to be with someone who is proud to be seen with her. Darren's reminded by Brendan about the first dance. He doesn't know what to do so Brendan offers to help him. Nancy discovers Darren's lied to her as there's no '90s revival concerts in Manchester on the 13th. She's convinced Darren and Cindy are seeing each other again. Margaret suggests to Nancy that she and Charlie fly back to Canada with her on Tuesday.
