Personally, I'm not a fan of killing characters off in general (not even in my own films) unless there's a very good reason, or it'll have a monumental effect.

Likely controversial but if I had to kill a character off, it'd be Ste. Some reasons relating to his past, and plus I think it'd be massively character defining for Leah, Lucas and James (maybe even bring James and Leah closer? He gets another chance at being a father?).

Romeo has had a number of different age mentions spanning from 2001 to 2003. In June 2022, Romeo said that he would be turning 20 in July. However, recently, he was mentioned as being 12 in 2013.

Think it's down to Romeo's DOB being constantly changed, and Juliet rarely having her birthday mentioned. Juliet's makes sense considering the ages of those she was in school with, but I think they should age Romeo up to late 2001/early 2002 (which he was at one point).

Hello. Darren is not being added to the list as Ethan never attempted to kill him. He also never attempted to kill Ste and Sienna (only held them at gunpoint), whilst he hasn't been confirmed as Warren's hit-and-run driver.

They definitely are too young - it's been mentioned several times that the legal age is 16. Not that it has stopped most of Hollyoaks's teens... 😬

"Savage" was intended to be a 'placeholder' surname as the actor is unknown, and it's most likely that Faith's surname is Savage. However, you raise a good point in terms of accuracy and a new page name has been suggested and implemented - thanks!

Hello! Apologies, I have only noticed this now.

I have removed the image from the character page for the following reason:

"Image is not to standard: it is of a poor aspect ratio, contains many borders as well as the phone status bar."

If you look at other characters' images, you will find that they are screenshots from episodes, that do not contain borders or have other characters in shot.

The image also appears very small on the page in desktop mode. Most character images are closer to being square rather than rectangular.

Sorry to bump an old thread (just noticed now). I think they should do more 'firsts' in regards to topical storylines. A lot of them are usually ones covered regularly in soaps, but they seem willing to compromise on these for deaths or stunts.

Luke Morgan's rape storyline back in 2000 was huge for many reasons: firstly, it had never been done in a soap before. Secondly, the beginning of the storyline was aired in a post-watershed episode which had the aim of educating viewers through shocking scenes. Finally, there was no huge stunt to withdraw any form of seriousness. It was obvious that they had worked their backsides off to create a storyline that would educate viewers and the show was rewarded with high viewing figures and a rise in general interest of the show.

I find John Paul & George's storyline a bit 'beige', it feels like the story team have just jumped right in without any consultation. The story basically relies on everyone being blind and doing as the plot says. It's almost like they've just skimmed over summaries of past storylines and threw them all into this.
